Charter Info

Please be at Hannafords Wharf on Te Kouma Rd 30 minutes prior to the trip. 

Please be aware that there is very minimal parking at this facility. Car pooling as much as possible is appreciated. The road must be kept clear at all times to allow buses and emergency vehicles access to the wharf and the end of the road. Do not park in areas with no parking signs as the council will ticket you.

Summer Hours from 11/10/19

      • Morning: 7am – 12.30pm
      • Afternoon: 1pm – 6.30pm

Winter Hours from 28/3/20

      • Morning: 7am – 12pm 
      • Afternoon: 12.30pm – 5.30pm

 TRIBUTE 

Summer Hours from 11-10-19

      • Morning: 7am – 11.30am
      • Afternoon: 11.30am – 4pm
      • Evening: 4pm – 8.30pm

Winter Hours from 28/3/20 

      • Morning: 7am – 12pm
      • Afternoon: 12.30pm – 5.30pm

Please be aware that these are the times the vessels depart and return, NOT the fishing time. This can depend on how far we need to travel to get to where the fish have been caught previously.
It could take 10 mins to get to the closest farms or it may take 50 mins or more. Our skippers will try their best to put you on to the fish but we cannot guarantee your catch.
If the boat limit has been reached then the vessel will return early.

Maata II 

(max 20 people)

  • Half day charter: $1000
  • Full 10hr day: $1900
 

Koromoemoea

(max 15 people)

  • Half day charter: $800
  • Full 10hr day: $1500

Tribute

(max 20 people)

  • Half day charter: $1150
  • Full 9hr day: $2200
Maata II - Mussel Barge Snapper Safari

Rod Hire – $15 (if needed)

Bait –

Option 1:  (only for private group bookings and are for the whole group and includes salt ice and a berley bomb.)
Half Day Trip – $20 per person
Full Day Trip – $40 per person

Option 2:
$10 per 1 kg bag, pay as you use it.

Prices (casual bookings)

Casual Bookings – individuals or small groups who join with others to create a mixed crew

We require a minimum of 8 individuals or $500 to ensure the boat leaves the wharf.
Please note that though you may request a certain vessel there is no guarantee that you will be on that vessel. We will certainly try to accommodate requests as best we can but as circumstances can change please be prepared to be placed on any of our vessels. 

    • Adult – $60

    • Child (12yrs and under) – $30

    • Under 5yrs – free

    • Rod Hire – $15 (if needed)

    • Bait – $10 (1kg bag)

BAIT MUST BE ORDERED PRIOR AS WE DO NOT CARRY IT ON BOARD UNLESS ORDERED.

Payment Details

GROUP BOOKINGS:

A deposit of half the total is required to secure a group booking and must be paid within 2 weeks of booking date.

CASUAL BOOKINGS: 

Payment in full is required before a booking is confirmed.

LATE PASSENGERS

There will be no waiting for late passengers after the scheduled departure time on casual trips.

A call will be made to attempt to contact late passengers, just prior to departure, to establish their whereabouts.

No refunds will be given for missed charters due to being late.

This is why we ask you to be there 30 mins prior to departure.

ALCOHOL / DRUGS

Beer and wine may be brought on board if it is consumed in a sensible manner. We would prefer cans not bottles.
Please take all your empties with you when you go.

We do not allow illegal drug use on-board.

We will not tolerate any abuse of our staff or other customers and will immediately return to the wharf with all monies forfeited if there is unsafe behaviour due to alcohol or illegal drug use.
Entry will be refused for those people that our staff deem to be intoxicated.

CANCELLATION POLICY

If the trip is cancelled due to weather, the deposit will be refunded or transferred to another date.

 

If cancelled by the customer within 3 weeks of the trip, then we reserve the right to retain the full amount if unable to fill the booking.

 

If cancelled within 1 week of the trip, then all monies are forfeit.
